About Me
I'm a student, journalist, writer and passionate storyteller. I am a junior at Auburn University, majoring in journalism with a minor in business.
My expected graduation is May 2024.

Currently, I serve as the Operations Editor for The Auburn Plainsman, a student-run newspaper in Auburn, AL. As a part of The Plainsman, I have had experience in writing, podcasting, copy editing, administration, recruiting, event-planning, social media strategies, and interviewing members for roles within the organization.
In addition to my experience at The Plainsman, I work in the Audio-Visual Department at the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University. In my role there, I am responsible for professionally filming lectures for future online courses.
In an effort to maintain versatility in my skills, I have also completed training on Adobe software including Adobe Express and Adobe Rush. I also have proficiency in Premiere Pro, Audition, and InDesign.
Internship Experience
2023 / SPRING (Current)
Operation Mobilization
Participate in virtual training sessions and weekly development meetings throughout the internship.
Create media projects and content for global print and social media campaigns to further exposure to missions.
2022 / SUMMER
Lake Homes Realty
Collaborated with other interns to create a PR campaign and social media content for the company's partnering non-profit,
The Circle of Love.
Researched and compiled information to write seventy original, informative content pieces on the company's website resulting in increased search engine output.
Created and edited articles for the company's blog and consulted in table reads for the company magazine's newest edition.
Professional Experience
The Auburn Plainsman
Jan 2021 - Present
Since May 2022, I have served as the Operations Managing Editor where I organize promotion of the organization, manage public relations and internal communication, participate in recruiting, spearhead events and facilitate interviews for staff positions and review resumes and applications.
My past roles have included sports writer, and Podcast Editor/Host.
In January, 2021 I joined The Plainsman as a sports writer where I covered games and press conferences on a weekly basis.
In March, 2021 I launched The Plainsman's first sports podcast, serving as the podcast host. I orchestrated and recorded weekly shows off sports news during the week and also coordinated scheduling guests and writing show outlines for each episode. I was promoted to Podcast Editor in January, 2022.
Harbert College of Business- Auburn University
Aug 2022- Present
I use a multi-camera system and Panopto to record an film classes for online use. I also collaborate with other technicians to coordinate camera work, shooting angles and audio levels resulting in increased efficiency.
The Paul Finebaum Show
Sept 16, 2022 & Aug 23, 2021
Functioned as a student journalist guest analyst and reported on current events surrounding Auburn Football and the university. The appearances were approximately 10 minutes.
The World Games
Summer, 2022
Operated on the Public Relations and Media Coordination Team for Softball. Responsible for assisting media and news outlets covering the games and supervised transitions to and from press conferences throughout the tournament.
